Technical Sales Account Executive

We want you as part of our team if you have the business savvy and technical background necessary to sell Pivot Technology Services Corp’s solutions and products to mid and enterprise level clients.  As one of our technical sales Account Executives you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of our emerging technology solutions and services business.

Job Summary:

The Account Executive is responsible for building relationships in person and proactively selling professional services and technology solutions to customers. We are seeking team members with a proven track record of selling technology solutions (Converged Infrastructure, Networking, Storage, Servers and Services) to corporate customers. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts.

The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level. We are seeking self-starters prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

You will be working with our Solution Architects and subject matter experts to help customers choose the right technology solutions and services to meet their unique business needs. Your ability to acquire, manage and grow your customer base, create and build consultative, long-term relationships with customers and deliver high value technology solutions is critical to your success.


  • Developing strong relationships with key IT and executive decision makers, OEMs and Strategic Partners
  • Selling Pivot’s complete line of technology solutions to include hardware and professional and managed services
  • Consult with customers to create customized technology solutions for their business
  • Prospecting and developing new customer relationships and managing and maintaining these customers to grow successfully on a recurring annuitized basis
  • Developing, maintaining, and leveraging strong relationships with OEM partners and distributors
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals while being responsible for overall account strategy development
  • Managing sales activity to achieve pipeline and forecast goals
  • Understanding market and competitor knowledge as well as vendor/distribution partnerships, leveraging to maximize best value and support for our customers



  • 3+ years’ experience selling or supporting sales of technical solutions to mid and enterprise accounts with a proven track record in creating high value technology solutions for customers
  • A self-motivated starter, excited about technology with a desire to be a part of an integrated sales team
  • Candidates currently in a Solution Architect or similar role, employed with a Value Added Reseller, Systems Integrator or OEM interested in moving to a sales role are welcome to apply
  • Thorough knowledge and relationships within the vendor partner community
  • Ability to travel locally or nationally as needed
  • Certifications in at least one of the following Cisco, EMC, Microsoft, HP, NetApp and/or VMware Sales Certifications highly preferred.
